Too many programmers are guilty of high treason of Humanity.

On this basis too many programmers lose awareness of their responsibilities as human beings, and become willing, because they do not see the gravity of it, or because they accept its imposition, or even because they share its aims, to serve the dystopian drift perpetrated through information technology.
The only difference amongst you traitor programmers and the British soldiers who physically murdered the Indians, the "American" soldiers who physically murdered the native Americans, the German soldiers who physically murdered the Jews, the Zionist soldiers who physically murdered the Palestinians, and the soldiers who physically pulled the trigger of every genocide in history, is that you don't have your hands stained with the blood of your victims. At least to the appearance you pretend to see.
But this is not a mitigating circumstance; this is an aggravating circumstance.
