The role of art, of aesthetics, of beauty.
Art: the quality of communication.
Quality: the closeness of the outcome to the aim.
Communication: the transmission of a message, of an idea, of an object from someone to someone else.
Hence, art is the closeness of the outcome of the communication to its aim: transmitting the message.
Aesthetics: beutiful, pleasing, interesting, touching, artful, artistic, elevating, etc.
Aesthetics is not what, it's how. It's not much that there are aesthetic things, such as a song, and not aesthetic things, such as light; aesthetics is a point of view, it's how you consider things: from an aesthetic point of view.
Art, aesthetics, beauty, have certain characteristics:
- they are the most elevated levels of our being;
- they communicate, most effectively and deeply;
- they elevate and strengthen us, while their opposites degrade and depress us.
The enemies of Man, the enemies of Life, our enemies, YOUR enemies know this very well.
Proof is how much in our world art, aesthetics, beauty are absent, degraded, perverted, associated with negative and destructive ideas and things.
This state of things is not fortuitous, it is not accidental: it is on purpose, and fabricated along with the rest.
It is specifically intended to degrade and depress us.
So we must be aware of the role of art, of aesthetics, of beauty.
And we must take them back and use them to communicate, to reach, elevate, strengthen our being. To remind us who we are.
So we must work to reinstate and reaffirm them over their opposite.
