Neoliberal Vision

Neoliberalism is a vision because it was created as an economic theory, and then promoted to theory of life, Man and society.

Let's get straight to the point, without beating about the bush, and tell it like it is:

Neoliberalism is a textbook case of suppressive action and ensuing condition of potential trouble source.

Those who have a neoliberal vision are either suppressives or loose cannons.

Let's see why.

Neoliberalism is based on, or it could be even said that it consists of, these two fundamental principles:

  • A predatory vision of life, Man and society.
  • A materialistic vision of life, Man and society.

The predatory vision:

Mors tua, vita mea; homo homini lupus, dog-eat-dog... we know this refrain.
According to that vision, human beings compete for survival factors: a conquered survival factor is a survival factor stolen from someone else.
According to that vision, leaving predators free to clash, mutual selfishness will reach a balance that makes life possible.

This vision is false because the survival factors must be produced - seeds, animals and soil are resources; the food on the table is a product -, and therefore someone must produce it.
If there were no farmers in the world, only robbers and parasites, the latter would kill each other, and the survivors would starve to death. Because no one would produce anything, and soon there would be nothing left to steal, nor to eat.
The proof that the predatory vision is false is that we are still here. If it were true, we would have been extinct long ago by now.

And indeed the real purpose of the predatory vision is to turn us against each other, and transform us from farmers into robbers, so that we kill each other and we dig our own graves.

The materialistic vision:

You are a body. You are your brain. And nothing else. There is nothing spiritual, nothing nonmaterial. Only matter exists, and Life is the daughter of chance. We know this refrain too.
According to this view, if your body is all you have, and matter is all that exists and all that matters, then your only purpose is to grab and hoard material things.
According to this view, possessing what we steal from someone else is the only thing that makes us happy.

This vision is false because the elevation or degradation of the human condition is directly proportional to the degree of presence and quality of the spiritual, nonmaterial dimension in it, and because the probability that Life is the result of chance is infinitely lower than the probability that it is the result of intention.
If there were no spiritual dimension in the world, there would be no human qualities that make life possible, and thanks to which we are still here.

And in fact, the real purpose of the materialistic view is to keep us separated from what really matters, and thus make us willing to do anything, either to seek answers where we will never find them, or to vent our despair at their absence.

An idea reflects its originator far more than it reflects its recipient. His vision as well as his power.
Ideas do not spring up like mushrooms. And above all, they do not spread without sponsors. Especially if they are destructive.
If we find ourselves stuck with the neoliberal vision, it is because someone had the motive, the intention and the power to infiltrate it into society.
Those people are the monetary manipulators, who wanted a vision with which to divide, dominate, and sanctify their crimes against Humanity.

Sit back and brace yourself for a demanding exercise: learn to detect the infiltration of neoliberalism and its consequences.
It requires the ability to see a huge panorama as a whole, to zoom in its details, and to spot in the infinite variety of decisions and actions their being all based on this very same vision infiltrated.

If you poison the well with a suppressive idea, the result is an epidemic of loose cannons.
If the idea is predatory, the result is an epidemic of people killing each other.
If the idea is materialistic, the result is an epidemic of people groping in the dark.

This is a demonstration that the neoliberal vision is false, that it is in bad faith, and that therefore it is suppressive:

A complete analysis of the so-called "neoliberalism" and of its premeditated mala fide (76 pages)

The following quote is from a man who is regarded as "the father of modern economics", and one might well ask who helped him earn that title.
But beyond that, this quote serves a dual purpose: it demonstrates not only the materialistic pettiness of the neoliberal vision’s existential outlook, but also just how subtle the manipulation of minds can be.
In fact, the sense of materialistic pettiness stems from the connotations we associate with the terms "consumption" and "production2. It is clear to us that these terms are used here in a materialistic, narrowly utilitarian sense.
Quite different is the concept that "all survival factors, both material and non-material, are produced by someone", which encompasses the entire spectrum of human needs, and in which the very word "produce" or "production" regains its original meaning of "to create, to bring into existence", applied to everything a human being needs, and which is "consumed" in the sense of "enjoyed", not necessarily "used up", as in the case of non-material factors, such as feelings and art.

“Consumption is the sole end and purpose of all production.”
