Homicide means murdering one human being;
multiple homicide means murdering some human beings;
massacre means murdering many human beings;
genocide means murdering a race, a people identified by a specific ethnicity, nationality, culture, etc.
None of these terms is adequate to describe the seriousness of the crime that was committed.
And that continues to be committed.
To describe its seriousness a specific term is necessary:
Democide.
Genocide is derived from the Greek génos, race, that is, ONE people.
Democide is derived from the Greek dímos, people, that is THE people.
Where's the difference?
Genocide is the murder of a single people.
Democide is the murder of all the peoples.
Democide means murdering Humanity.
Should you ever find difficult to take in at a glance this whole scope, then know that it affects you personally.
It affects you in an as simple as direct way.
Whoever you are, someone committed a crime against you, personally.
A crime called attempted first degree murder.
And you're one of the lucky ones: against the less lucky ones is not "attempted"; it has been committed first degree murder.
If you are still alive, you should care about that.
If you are still alive, that should be enough for you to have the courage to admit to yourself that looking the other way is not the solution.
Even if you didn't give a damn of others, are you okay with your murderer getting away with this with a pat on the back, a gold-plated pension with your money, and perhaps a place in the history books?
Then stand up.
