Once it is clear that intention is cause, our first duty and skill is to realise that it is never the hammer, but it is always the hand that holds it.
In this context, the "hammer" are the digital tools used in education in general, and in schools in particular.
The hand that holds this hammer are the enemies of Humanity, whose intentions we are now well aware of.
We know that the more a hand wields a hammer, the more it shapes it to suit its purpose, yet when it comes to the impact of digital tools on education and schools, this effect is only partly due to the way digital tools are being shaped by the enemies of Humanity.
Such effect is partly due to the intrinsic characteristics of digital tools, and there is no doubt the enemies of Humanity are promoting digital tools also because of these.
The function of digital tools in education and schools, both shaped and intrinsic, is to "mediate" - where the quotation marks stand for "mediate, in the sense of blocking": stand between the student and the reality of others, of things and of this dimension, in order to prevent the student from coming to terms with reality, becoming familiar with it, and learning to master it and thus to live within it.
Any educational method that isolates from reality is not an educational method. It is its opposite.
It is suppression, and going along with it is being a loose cannon.
Know what I mean...
And that is because the purpose of digital tools on education and schools is disconnection and isolation.
