Those who cannot confront, and those who refuse to confront the fact that their people, their community, their family are dying out, should confront the fact that life is unforgiving, and shows no mercy to those who do not confront it.
And then begin to confront the delights of extinction.
Because extinction is not painless.
Not even for those who couldn't care less.
After all, it is simply an exercise in observation and deduction: noting all the aspects of the life of a people, the life of a community, the life of a family – one’s very own life – and considering the long-term effects of the balance between previous and subsequent generations.
Conceptually it is a simple exercise, but it may be that noting the aspects and considering the effects would take time and diligence, but it will be worth it. Comparing life conditions when children are more or less numerous than their parents will be revealing.
Even for the last human being on earth, no matter how misanthropic, the day will come when self-sufficiency comes to an end.
