A typical, famous and flagrant example of "loose cannon" art: when art puts itself at the service of destruction.
Trevor Horn, Relax.
Relax is an extremely successful song, Trevor Horn is the producer, Frankie Goes to Hollywood is the name of the "group" in whose name the song went out. This song is a typical case where the front name, to whom the work is attributed in the public's eye, counts for much less than nothing, and the real responsible and creator is the producer, of whom the public ignores the very existence.
In this case, the exceptional creativity of the great producer Trevor Horn puts itself at the service of promotion of degraded and destructive aims. That this is done, as in this case, for mere commercial opportunism, is not a mitigating factor. That one is not led to this directly because one deliberately works for the destructive aim, but indirectly because led to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the climate one is immersed in, indifferent to their ethical connotations or conditioned to revolt against them, a "loose cannon" condition is what it always boils down to.
