The strategy to restore an organisation depends on its degree of rot: within a certain degree, one operates from within, beyond that degree, one operates from the outside.
Inside the health system a very high percentage of professionals committed the very serious betrayal of both the people and their sacred mission.
And a nearly as high percentage does not even realise it.
A certain percentage does, however it is almost always unclear to them what it is.
They all need help: to understand the crimes committed, to understand what to do.
And we must have dignity and respect back, our health and our life.
Maybe our health system is rotten beyond that certain degree, or maybe not. In any case, it is so large an organisazion that restoring it from within is a long work, therefore in the meantime it is advisable to restore it from the outside, too.
The health system is where we paid dearly and - literally - on our skin having allowed monetary manipulation and the so-called neoliberalist concept to infiltrate our life.
The first thing to clarify is: what is the product of a health system?
If the product of the health system is solely the money profit, then one sees it as intrinsically at a loss, and one is willing to destroy it, to sell it out to speculators, and to squeeze patients, if they give a good yield and until they do, and when they don't give it anymore to leave them, or to make them, die.
If the product of the health system is healthy people and healed people, then one sees it as productive if it produces healthy people and healed people.
Healthy people and healed people is much more ample and desireable a product than a money profit.
In order to realise that, one has to escape the so-called neoliberalist concept, under which the only thing that counts in life are the material goods taken away from one's neighbour.
In order to realise that this product, other than more ample and desireable, is also possible, one must know the trap of monetary manipulation, and get out of it. Outside of that trap, the product, rather, the wealth consisting of healthy and healed people, becomes a value instead of a cost, a gain instead of a loss.
The health system, from both an operational and an economic point of view, includes the scope of the denial, of the limitation, or the acknowledgement and respect of freedom of medical care.
The freedom of medical care is the full sovereignty over one's own body, and in its turn includes the total and absolute freedom about both IF to get treatment, and HOW to get treatment.
It therefore is self-evident that the reconstruction of health, united with the reconstruction of freedom, includes the freedom of medical care, the full sovereignty over one's own body.
In the full awareness of the interests and of the intentions that aim at controlling the health system to impose the opposite.
In fact, this includes treasuring the experience of the conditioning of the health system by those interests and intentions, that fight whatever impedes the monopoly of their commercial products, and in response stating explicitly that freedom of medical care includes the freedom and the condition of parity among the approaches to health and care, with particular regard to the fact that this scope encompasses material and nonmaterial spheres, and thus with strict adherence to scientific method with regard to the distinction between the method of study and the object of study.
As it happens, in fact, that very same Hippocrates father of medicihe, and of its sacred oath, would have said: "If the soul gets ill it consumes our body."
