The resurgence of motoring soul and its leading role
Many a cancer are threatening motoring: some are attacking the freedom to drive, some are attacking the freedom to move, and counting... you name it.
Many are attacking the very soul of motoring and driving.
What do all these attacks have in common? What is their single root cause?
As usual, the bearers of the intentions and motives of Evil: suppressives and loose cannons.
Let's tackle things from the root, so as to solve them conclusively.
So let's call things by their proper name:
what they are doing, here as everywhere, is called suppression;
what we are doing, here, it's called: the resurgence of soul in motoring.
Upon which let's continue to call things by their proper name, and acknowledge the leading role of soul in motoring.
Our soul has a leading role in Life - proof is the soulless world we find ourselves in for having forgotten it - and motoring is no exception.
To put a finger on what is going on in motoring we need a compass, and that compass is our soul; to rescue motoring from the dystopian drift that serves the aims of the enemies of Mankind we need a guiding star, and that guiding star is our motoring soul.
A soul whose voice is the music of engines.
“In the presence of unresolved suppression and potential trouble sources the world goes downhill: today is worse than yesterday, and tomorrow will be worse than today. Therefore, in a potential trouble source world, a taste for the timeless, for the essential, and for the self-determination contained in things like classic cars is not a mere odd whim; quite to the contrary, it is a conscious, determined and precise slap in the face: to suppressives, to potential trouble sources, to all the trivia, smoke and mirrors, dead-end surrogates, homogenisation to passiveness, red-herring mazes, frog boilers, hamster wheels, assorted quicksands, and to the degradation of foundations in the first place. So whenever you see one, whether it’s a classic Aston, Jaguar, Ford, Ferrari, Alfa, Fiat, or better still a Reliant Robin much more so than a Bugatty Royale, you are looking at a point of our deepest honour, a gauntlet throwh at suppressives, and a wake-up call for the potential trouble sources.”
