Establisment of the Right to Repair

If the definition of private property is ‘full and absolute enjoyment’, then it includes the right to repair.

The right to repair includes several aspects:
Products must be designed to be easily repairable, not, on the contrary, designed to be non-repairable.
This means that the tools used to repair them must be commonplace, such as a flat-head or Phillips-head screwdriver, not inaccessible as proprietary tools and devices.
This means that assemblies must be manageable with common tools, such as flat-head or Phillips-head screws, not with obscure formats, irreversible adhesives and the like.
This means that there must be no electronic programmes preventing access, repair, replacement and interchangeability of parts.
This means that spare parts must be available.
